What front valance grill is this?

What is this upper middle grill above the oil cooler grill?
It looks nice and OEM. Owner carguy101 says that it was on the car when purchased and that it's made of plastic.

    thanks,

It's not OEM BMW, it's probably just plastic mesh from another make/model of car, possibly not even from a car at all.

I would love a proper OEM IS lip but I am too low for the the roads around here (which are crap) and don't want to spend the money on something that will get destroyed in less than a week for $6 I don't care if it gets messed up.

That grill is rice. Just like the homebrew fog deletes.
            Volvo lip is gay.
And the spray painted signal lenses is just sad.

Question has been asked and answered.
Its NOT original from BMW, or from anyone really. That slot has no monting provisions so its some janky custom ricer shit. /thread

@JasonC, I got it, someone has an opinion that it's not OEM BMW; that is good and expected as I already looked on realoem for this part and if it was an OEM part you would see more of them.
If it is "ricer" or otherwise, I'd still like to see the source.
The piece does look made for that size hole as the honeycomb pattern has no jagged or half holes. Looking closely it appears to have a thin border of solid then the grill pattern fills in.

Well if you think its a part from something else, then why dont you take it off and look at it for part numbers or marks from a manufacturer?

The reason you don't see any of the edges is that it is probably a larger piece mounted behind the hole. I don't understand what you are looking for from us. People have said that it isn't factory; this is an e30 forum. There's a ton of info here, but it is ridiculous to think we can look at a piece of plastic grate and tell you exactly where it came from...
