    Yes they do but they are held up differently, say...

    early cabrios had 1 shock, later ones had 2.

    i've seen coupes/sedans with underspeaker tensioners that act as a shock, as well as dual shoked ones.

    Send the company your pictures and ask them what the deal is. Even though it was a "free" CF trunk, I'd still email them. Hopefully they haven't sold too many of those bubbled trunks lids.

    I do like the weave though...that's my favorite CF weave.
