I did the plastic bumer converstion, and after i put on the valance i noticed that the splash guard on the bottom of my vert, which is combined with my wheel well plastics, hangs down well below the valance. Making it a probable cache of rocks and debris. What do people normally do with this? Can i buy seperate wheel well plastics so i can delete the splash guard and buy a skid plate? thanks!

I see, i took a look at it again, and it seems to go partially up the wheel well. So if i go in reverse im going to get the back side of my valance and fog lights all grimey and wet.
There has to be some way around this... any ideas?Comment

Don't quote me on this but I THINK that splash guard is unnecessary. I've heard of people removing theirs...don't know how advisable that is.The first car I ever rode in was an e30

You definitely don't NEED to run it. If you want to keep that stuff, you'll need to get it from a plastic bumper car.Comment

Been about ten years and I never even knew I was missing mine until last week when I asked someone for the right fender piece and he told me that he had it but not the center. Or "rest of it" or something I don't remember his exact words but I've since looked at about five cabrios and none of them had it so that's that I suppose :|Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!Comment

Anyone have a definitive answer to this? Realoem is only showing me one part number for an engine shield while it lists both plastic and DB bumpers. This leads Me to believe it should fit on both? How about the wheel well pieces? Realoem isn't helping so figured I'd bump this thread and see if anyone has updated information.

There is a tab for two wheel well versions with break duct holes however those are two pieces and do not include the center shield

Also there is this piece which I have no idea what it goes to but it does say air duct...
