Im lookin to swap to plastic on my 88 and want to know everything i need. I know the main stuff but other then covers, shocks, lights... what do i need. Thanks

On e30sport there used to be a tech article on how to do it...might be on r3v somewhere but i haven't seen it. Anyways, i know a few guys have done this, Jordan being one of them. I'll wait for someone like him to chime in and tell you what all you need. I made sure to get a 89+ e30 just for the plastic bumpers. Good luck with your conversion.

Jordan has an '87. This guy has an '88.

No modification involved at all for you, all you need is a complete set of bumpers, with everything included. On the '88, they bolt right up.

Whoa, i guess you learn something new everyday...he's lucky it's a easy bolt up. You have to be very skilled to pull it off on a pre 88.
