How do you install Late mode Euro License plate filler?

I got a Euro License plate filler. How do you guys install them? I know theres 2 holes on the top of the filler by the License plate light. Don't want to mickey mouse anything together. I want to do it the correct way.

I installed mine differently than anyone else on here (that I have seen). There are a few DIY threads about how to install it but I found what I think to be a better way.
The way I decided to install it allows you to reuse the stock mounting hardware for your license plate. In this post from my build thread you can see my DIY how to install. Let me know if you have any questions, post them here/my build thread/or pm me if you have any.

I usually remove all 4 of the round plastic screw grommets. Then drill 2 holes for the the top plate bolts lining them up with the top 2 holes in the car. Mount plate and plate filler as one piece to the car with nuts and bolts.

I almost did this but I wanted to be sure the trunk would stay sealed tight with all the salt/snow up here in the Midwest. I was worried that it could cause rust at some point.
