Opinions on eBay IS lips?

My friend just got his IS lip from eBay.

It SUCKS. Fits like normal but that thing is straight up plastic. The same type your lunch sporks are made of. It's also way lighter than oem. One hit on the road or even if you run it over on the road it WILL crack.

Get an oem one unless you plan on not lowering your car.
And support a the forum sponsors man. They actually give a shit about these cars.

i got one of the ebay copies, it was like 60 bucks for it new...it fits like oem although its really fragile the mounting points brake easily and i ran over it and broke in half, then i hit debris on the road and broke it some more, as soon as it brakes more im getting another one from blunt, ive had the is lip from ebay for about a year and its pretty much garbage

be careful, there are lots of replica lips on ebay. I ended up with a replica "i" lip. I have no idea why you'd want to make a copy of an "i" lip, and it was just for winter use for $20, so I didn't care. But I'd be pissed if I paid $100 for an IS lip and it was fake.

you can get one from bluntech for a little more (shipped), and it will definitely be genuine. they're even having a sale right now.

Where'd you find the replica I lip for $20? I'd rock one of those on my beater
