Truth or Myth: Early body license plate filler.

So I just called the stealership today to try to order the license plate filler for an early body 325i and they said that they were discontinued!!!! Is it possible or did they guy not know what he was talking about? I will end up going there in person to make sure he was looking up the correct part.

I work at a BMW dealership and I recently checked on the part, It is not NLA however there are none in the US or Germany and there is no restock date for BMW AG. This means they could be on the way out. :(

Keep in mind there are TWO versions of early model rear plate fillers. The both appear the same but have different license plate holes. One has the 2 holes (Euro) and the other has 4 holes (US).

I just bought one from Mel @ aberhamsmotive.com,im impressed just installed it today,
                              -need: early model filler
a good strong adhesive spray (I used 3m)
take the four plastic original screw clips out
spray, slap on dry, then from inside the truck drill out your top holes
install your license plate ,bam paper towels.
