Exterior door pulls/handles

I bought some new ones with "BMW Motorsport" on it. How do I go about replacing them? Do I have to remove the door panel? I couldn't find any DIY.

They are screwed from the bottom. No need to remove anything.

Lift up the handle and you will see two small phillips head screws on either side. Unscrew them and the handle pops right off.

Awesome....now, do I wait until spring/summer to install them or do them now....worried about the winter abuse
