So, long story short, I got screwed on a set of Euro bumpers from a member here (you can figure out who if you look at my recent posts). Paid wayyyy too much for a set with destroyed chrome.
What was described as being "dull" chrome turned out to be sanded/ground off chrome.
I think the picture below does a good job explaining what these look like. You can see the copper underplating in a few spots.
So what should I do?
A) Have them re-chromed? ($$$)
B) Paint them body color (Delphin in my case)
C) Paint them satin black
D) Sell them and most likely lose a bunch of money
To add to this, I spent about $150 on top of the purchase price to buy all new hardware for the front and rear and brand new end caps for the rear bumper.
