    Intake Mani Painted

A lot of simple green and too much time bent over a bucket scrubbing and scraping the gunk off will wear your back out. A little bit of High temp satin finish spray paint and pretty things can happen.

Gonna polish off the raised parts to match the valve cover I worked on the other day.

Just cleanin up the look of the engine compartment.

looks good, but just out of curiosity why didn't you choose the wrinkle or stock silver?

My only goal was to really get rid of the ugly cosmolined parts. I had some high temp satin on hand and the thrifty won out.

if anyone is interested I can do the same to the one I am taking out of my car and replacing with this one. Cleaned and painted silver or black or whatever. It was actually kind of fun to clean it up and paint it.

yeah Ill post a pic tomorrow, it was installed today and its still at the shop, havent picked it up yet. It was really hard to get the BMW emblem polished, i had to get quite particular with my sand paper and other various tool to pull off the paint.
