    Carbon fiber vinyl

I was wondering if anyone has wrapped any part of their car in carbon fiber vinyl. I tree branch fell on top of my E30 and I don't have the money to paint her but I was thinking of banging the dent out and wrapping it in the vinyl. Any tips or information would be much appreciated! Thanks

I got some of the "textured" carbon fiber vinyl off ebay and its pretty decent stuff. Didn't end up using it in either of my cars though, just not my thing. Shit is mad sticky and flexed well as long as it stays warm. Definitely break out a hair dryer if you're trying to do a multi dimensional surface.

I've seen an e30 with the doors wrapped in CF vinyl, doesn't look bad at all if done properly.

My advice would just be to save and get it painted properly.

It wouldn't be saving any weight, it's just to cover up my ugly dented roof
