My Short Antenna Mod

I recently have gotten tired of the stock antenna especially because it never worked so i went to advance only to find out that nothing fits:-x Well i decided to make one fit, so i bought a universal fit short antenna. well i took off the threaded sleeve that holds in the stock one pulled out the antenna and cut the sleeve down to the threads. then i ran the adapter through the sleeve and fastened on the new antenna(the adapter had to ground down to a smaller diameter to fit) then i just threaded the sleeve back in place, looks purty gewd i'd sey

reception is actually better than with the stock antenna, i now have stations i was never able to pick up at all before.

and i do not plan to go through any auto car washes. i am a big believer in the good old fashioned hand wash.
