86 valance question

Why does my valance look so wierd? I've been unable to find anything like it on the web?

It's a stock valance that someone painted the lip body color.

So at one point it was black?

The lip (the bottom piece with all the screws in it) is black factory.
Looks like someone, or you perhaps, also removed the foglights that are supposed to be attached to the bottom of your bumper.

you can change out you're valance "the one between the crome bumper and the bottom lip

for one of thees
