    Aftermarket Roundels on E30's pictures

If you have pictures of E30's with aftermarket roundels, please post them up! Any color E30, any non-stock color roundel.

Pictures of black cars, however, will earn you Jalopnik COTD-type rewards. Because I have an agenda.

Alpina badge on my E30, sorry not so well of a picture, but it is really old, even before I did my plastic bumper swap, but now all the color has faded out of my badges just like the BMW ones, moral of the story ? Don't remove the protective film on the new roundel ! :finger:

          Side question on Roundels.

Both the front and rear on my car were shot so I ordered a new set from Pelican. I haven't received them yet, so when I see them it may be obvious, however it wasn't clear how you get the old ones off.

At least for the rear there doesn't seem to be any way to get to the back for a screw, do they just push on? I've put some pressure on it, and it moves, but doesn't appear to come off. I didn't force it since I didn't want to damage anything until I was sure.

I'm assuming that the front has a nut under the hood but I haven't gone looking for it so this might be incorrect.

Anyone got a pic or info on what I need to do to pull the old ones off?

No hardware at all for either one. Just pry em off.
If you want a right fit for the new ones get new grommets. (The rubber prices that the roundels press into)

Great, thanks for the info. I did order new grommets (came as a kit).
