So I am buying a 87 325is in a week. The PO had a weird looking custom valence thing on it that he made. He crashed the car and then bought my late model for parts. Is there a way to fit a late model front valence and bumper on an 87?
late model front valence/bumper on early model?

Thats only if you swap over plastic bumpers as well, my 88 uses the late model valance with metal bumpers, it has the tow hook screw into the center of the bumper behinde the front license plate. I'm not sure if that's a one year only thing or if maybe verts had this too because they also use the 25mm shorter front metal bumpers like the 88 does.Shawn @ Bimmerbuddies

Yes the center tow hook was 88 only. I'll bet most people don't even know about it!Comment
