No, a cod piece is like a cup that you wear outside you clothes. To protect your junk. Or as an exaggerated phallus.

I forgot who said it on here, but look at the E30 body and find something heavy, and make it our of CF. Sunroof, decklid, hood, fenders, door (fiberglass maybe), full ROOF! (CSL style).....

Definately look at the front end, it's heavier. Can/should the front valence be made in CF? Just look at the parts i guess.

Only who really needs a CF roof? Besides a really affluent e30 club racer. But there are more and more people buying up E30s for track use. They would probably be interested in such products. I don't think they would be on forums, but would be part of BMWCCA racing or similar organizations. Put your eye to the ground with things like that, and see what people are looking for and willing to pay as much as you'd require.

i have no idea how much stock fenders weigh, but I don't know how many ppl would actually want fiberglass or cf fenders... that is a possibility though. since all the ricers have the Z3 fenders, and those are pretty cheap, I'm thinking that making them would be cheap as well. but I don't htink cf fenders would work out well, maybe just fiberglass?

the hood is the main front end component that you can save weight on. as for the front valence, isn't it replaced when u get a kit? or not? how heavy is it? I've been told it weighs about 25 lbs, and a fiberglass one would prolly weigh about 8? so maybe that's an investment to make? but where the heck can I find one in perfect condition that hasn't been all bent up or warped??
