Alternate way to install early model valance

Besides purchasing brand new brackets or fabbing up a new bracket... is there a simple way to install the valance without much hassle?

I'm assuming you're talking about the es/is valance? I've heard of people bolting it to the diving board but I don't actually have experience mounting them without the bracket.

Bolt or self tapping screw it straight to the bumper.

^ as mentioned above. I used self tapping screws to the bumper and some areas it was a complete pain.

Chessmaster, any pics of the tapping screws on the bumper area? I would like to order a valance, and would like some help knowing what works best to keep it on. Thanks!

Sold the car already, but I installed 1 on each corner( I believe it was covered under black side trim) and then 4-6 on the inside top row of airdam mounted to metal bumper. pic of said set up my airdam was warped tho. And it would hold fine, I would smash it a few times, and hold speed of 80+ semi-often.
