Lock strips

I know it's a cheap and bad fix. But could you put the front lock strip on the back. I know it won't go on without cutting. But if you just cut it so you had a top section and bottom section. Would they be long enough? I have the corner pieces but no lock strip for the back, just one for the front laying around.

"cheap and bad fix" seems better than the 400+ bucks i just spend at the stealership on lock strips and windshield seams. plus the guy there said its doable (after i gave him my credit card of course)
