    Bumper Bolts

While removing my rear bumper today (plastic bumpers for the first time) one of the long bolts that hold the bumper on was a huge PITA to get off. I finally got it to wiggle a bit and started to unscrew. Now however, the bolt is just about to come loose- it has probably only one thread left before it should drop- but it's not falling.

Any ideas to get this thing off? It still is pretty hard to unscrew and I tried wiggling/pulling/soaking with PB.

    Thanks!

Same thing happened when a friend was removing mine. We thought it was hanging on by a thread or two but the retaining nut actually broke off and was holding it on.

We pulled the right side of the bumper off as far as we could which gave me some clearance to put my hand in the left side and hold the nut still.

Hopefully this isn't your problem because it was a bitch to do.
