    Some E30s longer than others?

Is it just me or are some of these E30s, at about the same year, longer than others. Mine just seems shorter than some of the other ones I've seen. (short complex )

I guess you could make a stretch-limo one? Other than that they are the same

the wheelbase is the same for all e30's or i think that would warrant a new body style....

Ok, I was tripping then... I guess it's just most of the ones here are lowered which maybe gives it a longer look than non-lowered ones.

Well, could it be that some rear windows slope at more of an angle? Some E30s seem like the space between the base of the rear window and end of trunk is longer..... no?

e30 ///M3s had a different rear quarter, decklid, backlight, and c-pillars. the backlight was raked more and the c-pillar was thicker at the base.

The only stock e30s that would have a different rear window angle would be the M3. And the cabrios but that's obvious :p to my knowledge the 4door and 2door had the same rear setup.

Euro models were shorter to accommodate the smaller parking spaces.

A diving-board bumper car probably has a good 10-12" on a late-model with plastic bumpers.

All E30s have the same wheelbase, except M3s which are like .2 inch shorter. I had a hard time convincing someone at an autocross of this fact, he thought the 4doors were longer than coupes.
