Gap between valance and bumper

Hello!

I am doing a bumper swap on my vert e30 , the front valance is installed.
I cant get to fit the front bumper without gap on top of it or under.

Both part doesnt come from the same car. Is there smaller bumper or they r all the same and the gap is normal?

theyre all the same.

Most have a larger gap underneath and a small but uniform gap accross the top
