Are early model front and rear valances usable on late model?

Hello all, I found some front and rear valances on an early model on craigslist and he has offered to sell them separately. Has anyone installed the early front and rear valance on a late model? Do some fit and others not? Any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: They are aftermarket plastic bolt/screw on valances

front and rear valance on series II cars is spot welded to the chassis. It doesn't come off easily like the series I items.

Im sorry, let me clarify. Im not going to remove any sheet metal, just hoping to use aftermarket bolt/screw on front and rear valances from an 87 on an 89

I think you misunderstand what the word valance is. The valance on a series II car does not simply bolt on. It's spot welded to the chassis. Maybe you are talking about spoilers and bumpers?

Need pictures to see what they even are. Also on the rear valance, the late model is deeper unlike the early model that is short.
