No pin stripes, it looks cleaner, I pulled mine off with a hair drier and used "Goof Off" adhesive remover, then waxed where they used to be to blend.

I took it off of my old car which was almost identical to yours. This is one of the last pics I took of it. It should give you some idea of what yours would look like.

Looks good with them off. In the pic the top looked red :? I am guessing it was just the pic.

I had to remove mine, as they were already half off. Unfortunately, one side (I guess it faced the sun) were pretty much baked on. After hours of Goo Gone, then Wurth Clean Solve (which worked better), it was all pretty much off, but left a ghost image. So, given that, Id say leave em if they are in good shape

The top was red, it was replaced by a PO. I wasn't too much of a fan of it, but it was unique.

What are you doing with those Borbets now that they are wrecked?
Im not sure what im gonna do with the borbets yet, out of all the wheels, only one of them is in perfect condition, 2 dont drive straigh, and 1 is usable but has a bend from a pot hole in it. I do however have i set of perfect tires with little miles on them, so right now im looking for new wheels to put them on. not sure what i want tho.
