E30 vert brake light relocation

I really like the look of the e30 without the brake light plopped right on top of the hood and really like the M3 EVO spoiler. So I'm thinking about removing the is spoiler and the 3rd brake light and body filling the hood and creating my own EVO spoiler from scratch and integrating the 3rd brake light into the spoiler. It would just be a small led strip. What do you guys think?

spoilers with the light typically look like eurotrash on our cars and the m3 style wing on non-widebodys usually looks like crap

Yeah I haven't seen many non M with the spoiler so it'll look a lot different than the wide body. I think I might try to make it since I have the extra materials and mount it as is and if it looks decent I'll put it on and if it looks like crap I'll put it on Kijiji lol thanks for the input! I just hate the 3rd brake light on the vert lol

Vert's with a spoiler that high look odd. A low key one, like IS one isn't bad.

I want to put a LED bar into an e28 IS spoiler I have kicking around. Low key, looks good, and isn't ricey/Eurotrashy.

Good luck with that... it will look like trash.

If you want to maintain the CHMSL without the vert bump, use the BMW roundel that has a light within it. Saw it recently on the forums.

....although I think it'll end up looking cheesy.

There is a local vert with a IS spoiler with integrated CHMSL. Guy got it from ebay, but it was a long time ago and I can't find one now.
