What I'd like even more is a single piece of trim that goes all the way from fender to fender. No break to cover up in the middle where the two pieces of trim come together. Would be so clean.

What if someone starting making one that said E30 instead.. Could BMW throw a lawsuit at them?

I was thinking about that, but I do not know how it would mount or even cut it for it to look clean; it seems to curve more than the e30 trim. I'd rather just find one that was made for e30 instead of cobbling what up to work

I think the e36 is more flexible. If I can't trace the BMP one, I might just start there

How does the filler attach to the bumper as the grey car shows 2 fasteners, while the red car shows none.

No one would invest in an injection mold of that size as it would cost big $$$, that's why BMW made it 2 pieces as well.

              I have no idea
I don't have hands on experience with this bumper filler at all

I'm sure someone could chime in who does

Not to mention it would be tricky to install as one giant piece.
