    Seat Reupholstering

Im reupholstering my seats and I was planning to use suede and leather . What colors would go with a black interior with a tan headliner. I want to use suede as the side bolsters so I was thinking about charcoal suede bolsters and black leather down the middle. I want ideas so give me what you think .

not sure, it's hard to make 2 tone interior look good. that combo doesn't sound that bad, just be carful and don't get carried away.

What is the color of your carpet, headliner, etc.? That should dictate what the two tone seat will have in it. If its all black, then grey inserts would be nice - you could also do grey carpet, panel inserts and maybe even ebrake and shift boots to make it coordinate in nicely

Is this your first time reupholstering? If so, feel free to PM me with questions/ideas.

For suede on seats, make sure you use the full hide (ie. just the other side of finished leather). If you go with suede splits (where the finished side is removed) it won't hold up on a seat (but is perfect for panels).

Alcantara is very popular as well (articficial suede). Its nice because it comes in different grades for seating, panelling, headliner, etc. But its not cheap.
