What the hell BBS spoiler is this?

Ok guys I have a spoiler I am trying to sell on the forum but as another member pointed out it isnt the typical e30 bbs spoiler. I am having trouble figuring out what it is. There doesnt seem to be a part number and I am guessing it was sanded off at some point. The person I got it from says it came off an e30. I have pics holding it up to my e30 as well as taped onto a spare e30 decklid. Does look quite good on an e30, sort of like a less aggressive mtech1. Anyway here are the main points.

    1. It does appear to be genuine BBS as it has the proper BBS relieved/raised stamp in it on the top side.

    2. No part number but I am not sure where it would be anyway? Hiding under the double stick tape?

    3. It does not look to have ever been spliced to be short but may have been cut and modified on the ends. It fits the width of the decklid perfectly. If you look at the pics it looks like some of the side areas were shaved out then molded with epoxy to form the side edges. I cant tell if thats how its supposed to be or not but im guessing not?

    4. If number three is the case what the hell car did it come off of. I spent the last 2 hours google image searching every goddamn bmw BBS spoiler up to the e30 (e12, e24, e21 you name it) and nothing even looks like it is a candidate to modify to look like this.

    5. It looks like it doesnt fit well with two humps on either side but when I press conform it to the decklid it looks great. It is rubberish type material so it lays down nice and flat on the decklid.

Sure someone didn't modify it to fit another car? I've done so with a e30 es/is trunk spoiler and put it on a 70's Dodge Colt.

It was made as a "sun shade" for the license plate.
