    Bumper Options for e30

I have seen a lot of e30s for sale with this bumper and I haven't bought one of them yet because I hate the look of the bumper. and I don't know if they can be changed. I have been searching for bumper options but has been difficult since there are so many different e30s. What are my options? and where can they be purchased? I don't care about the metal bumper or the diveboard I just want something that is lower and sportier and I know about the bumper tuck

If you like the shiny chrome look, you can go for a early european bumper swap. Somewhat spendy.

      Bumpers, bumpers, bumpers!

You can leave them, tuck them in, swap to small chrome euro bumpers (sweet!), buy a later model with plastics, or convert an early model to plastics.

This is the early is spoiler if that's what you're thinking. They come up for sale fairly often here.

I never understood the attachment to that valance. I think it is horrendous.

I sold mine and went back to the euro / convertible plastic lip at the bottom. Race guys like them as they're actually somewhat functional for airflow I'm told.

Yeah this is the bumper I really like. So it is doable?

They go for $100 to $150 in various conditions (without fog lights). You need the brackets that hang it off the metal valance, or I think you could just screw it into the underside of the bumper. There's a guy on here if you search, fabricating new brackets for sale.

The IS has the extra two flat vents in the middle bottom, the ES doesn't have them. 1986-1987.
