Need a suggestion on how to deal with somethin

Alrighty, on the back of my car, behind where the license plate would go - there is a scratch, and paint peeling next to it.

Anyway, on teh scratch, there's a VERY tiny amount of surface rust here - definately nothing major - but, I'm wondering if I should do anything about it? Should I sand the spot a little bit with some 1000 grit paper, then buy some touch up paint from paintscratch.com as well as some clear coat, and cover it up?

    Thanks! ;)

You gotta be careful with rust, even if it's only surface rust right now. I would do exactly what you said. That sounds like a good plan. Plus it's behind your license plate so the touch up paint will work just fine.

I wonder how the scratch got there??? weird stuff

I dunno, i could always ask teh previous owner... :P

It looks like there's a little dent too, I'm pretty confused by it.

I'll have to get ahold of some touchup paint then. There's quite a few spots on the car where I can see bare metal = not good. Only reaosn there's rust back there is cause water can sit there, and not really many other places.
