How To Remove Side Trim Strips?

[Low Level E30]

Can anyone tell me how to remove the side trim strips on the front fenders / doors / rear fenders?

I want to remove the black / Shadowline trim strips from a late E30 in a junkyard, and re-use them. So, they need to come off w/ out being damaged.

Any help?

Do you have a Bentley manual? I can't remember exactly where the bolts are, but basically there's one screw that screws into the trim on each part of the car--fender, door(s), and rear quarter panel--four doors *might* be a little different. The Bentley manual will tell you exactly where the screws are. After that, take a flathead screwdriver with a thick cloth (to protect the paint) and pry it off the sides. It shouldn't hurt the trim. You'll need to replace the clips that hold it on the door, but they're $0.95 or something so no biggie.
