    E30 Front Valance

I own a 1987 BMW 325i Convertible (the red one) and recently removed my old original Zender front valance. The whole thing is in bad shape and the paint is chipping off a lot so i decided just to take it off. I am looking for a new valance that I could purchase, preferably metal. The car has the diving board bumpers and i need help finding another one. I saw a car similar to mine (the gold one) that have the valance i think i need.

So I've never seen an aftermarket metal valance which would limit your options to that one at the bottom. That car is an '88, which has the larger bumpers and the late-model valance. Someone else will have to chime in about whether or not that'd be a bolt-on to an early model like yours.

      Valance

I actually found one on Ebay. Of course I'd have to paint it to match but at least it's there. I asked the seller if it would fit mine and he said yes. It looks like this:

That is not the same valence in your picture. The one in your picture is a late model valence. That is a early model euro valence.
IIRC that one will fit your car, but may not fit your bumpers. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I've never tried this myself) I believe to run that valence you would need euro bumpers as well.
If it were me I'd go for an early model sport valence. They may not be metal, but they look good, are OE and will for the most part bolt right up to what you have.

That euro valence will fit. The only difference is the hole cutouts for euro fogs and the lip mounting locations. The lips you can use differ between early 84-85 and 86-87 iirc.

For the euro valance you need to hack off or buy the strip above the bumper.
I think it would be much easier for you to put on a,later model valance.

That euro valance will not fit his car. It will hit his oil cooler. Unless you want to remove the oil cooler, then it will fit. But then you have to buy the metal part under the grill and above the bumper like others said. Number 7 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=41_0132 Then ontop of that, the foglight holes will be covered on the top due to the US bumper. Then you got to get the correct euro fog lights for it and the lower lip also. US lip is the same as a Euro.

The bronzit car that you put n the first post, that valance will fit. But, you got to cut off the tow hooks in the front. And the plastic bumper surrounds may fit. I can't remember if the 86-87 surrounds will work with that valance? They maybe a 1988 only thing? Someone else please chime in on that.

Anyways, your car already has a valance on it. It's just missing a lip. You'll need this lip here with the cutout in the middle for the oil cooler.

Don't mind the valance it's attached to. That's the 86-87 euro valance. Just picture it on yours without the foglights in it.
