plastic bumper/lower apron question...

I've noticed that some of the stock lower aprons for the plastic bumpers have little differences between them. Like in most of the pics in e30.de the lower aprons have only one rectangular opening in the middle. This is different then the ones i have seen in the US cars, where they have two rectangular openings. I dont know if i'm describing it clear enough. I would post a pic but i cant log onto the place that hosts my pics. Do you guys know what i mean? Are there differences in the lower aprons between the US and Euro models. Or are there different aprons in general, that can be found anywhere? Thanks, Dave

are you talking about the front spoilers on e30's with metal bumpers? I know that the es spoiler has 4 rectange cutouts on the bottom where the is spoiler only has 2 or vis versa not exactly sure which is which

EDIT: ES has 2 cutout where the IS has 4

No, he's talking about the post 88 front valence. The US cars had 2 cutouts for the oil cooler.

The bottom cutout in my car has a black spacer thing on it.

Brian is correct. I believe euro models and Canadian models only had the single "rectangular" cut out (might be a 318i/iS thing only).

I saw an 88and up valence going on ebay, that was coming from germany. It was off a 318is and had only a single thing across the center.
