Ted and I think they are tight on red cars. We like 'em. Like in my last picture here, it looks cool. Free mods kick ass too.

I'll tell you what. I prefer black kidney grills to all chrome grills, which some jerk-offs do to look cool with E36's. ]

IMO, black kidneys look great on the right car - red, silver, etc. with a fair amount of black trim around. Not hiding them, just being cool and um, understated.

8) If I don't like the look, I just pop the hood, pop the 2 clips, and change the look. Similar story with the center caps.

I can graffiti my car for the same cost, doesn't mean it's cool.

The best thing to do is to paint it your body color. I will paint mine diamanshwartz eventually.

I like dark kidneys on darker colored cars. Personally I need to break down and buy a new chrome one so that I'll have a little more silver on the car to match the silver lips on my wheels. If your kidney is beat to hell though, I think it looks better painted than all chipped up.

Grills

I'm a big fan of the black grills. But only on silver and red cars (maybe black). Don't like them so much on white, bronzit, etc. I'm thinking about doing mine pretty soon. Especially if somebody makes a DIY tech article. Not gonna pay $60 or whatever to buy one.
