    e30 m42 engine bay detailing

    Hey Guys,

Re: Engine bay e30 m42 degreasing.

My engine has some major, stubborn stains and caked on dirt. I want to do a thorough job of cleaning it all off. I understand the distributor cap and alternator need to be protected. Is there anything else I should keep from getting wet? I've watched videos on engine bay cleaning, but wondering in particular to the e30, m42 engine bay if there are any special considerations and measures to take to make sure none of the other components get damaged in the process of cleaning.

    Thank Much

soak that shit in purple power, and use scotchbrite or brass brush to scrub off the caked on spots.
