    Chrome Window accent

What is everyone doing to get rid of the chrome accent around the door/windows? Replacing , paint? If you painted yours throw up some pictures and what you used.

Some use paint others use plastidip. I painted mine on my first e30. Kind of regretted it later cause the chrome looked better.

My favorite match to OEM is SEM Trim paint. Comes in a rattle can.
Prep is important here. You have to scuff it really well or else it will flake off pretty quickly. Paint doesn't stick well to shiny surfaces.

FYI, it's not chrome, it's clean anodized aluminum. Same with diving board bumpers.
