How to make custom hood/trunk/wheel badges?

I've been trying to figure this out for a while. Does anyone know of a company or have a method for making custom badges? Ideally I'd like the end result to be quality and not fade/peel in a month. I think wheels might be easier than hood/trunk being that the sizes are more standard?

Alternatively, creating a quality sticker overlay could work.

Has anyone had experience doing this? Website links?

There was a member here making them a few years ago. I got a set made, looked great and haven't faded at all. He used laminated vinyl over factory roundels. Don't recall his user name.
