How do you remove the rear bumper (1988)

I NEED to get rid of this rust before it spreads
I just looked at a photo I took of it last year, and its spread about an inch.
I was waiting for Greg to get me my euro bumpers but it needs to be done now.
What tools do I need to remove it?
At the very least, how do you remove the plastic surrounds?

Pop the trunk and Pull out the carpet panels. You'll see some 8mm bolts running in a line where the Surrounds bolt on. Just undo all these bolts and you can pull the trim off.
Are you getting a Euro bumper for the rear? you realize it won't fit the 88 up body style right?
