50 shades of blau

Hey everyone,

what is the deal with different shades of blue BMW color on badges, emblems and hubs? On is light blue, other one is much darker. Which one is period correct for 1987+? Thanks.

The second one looks faded. The correct color is darker.

It's just interesting how blue color has changed while white enamel looks the same (not yellowish)/
