Its for my bumpers. I want them Flat black but i dont want to pay someone to spray them now because i need a new paintjob anyway. Thanks Jordan. Hardhat it is.
Mar Hyde Trim Paint
most auto stores sell it
you know it's good when you inhale some of it smells just like the real deal (body shop job)
plus it sticks GOOD to just about any thing
But how durable is this stuff and does it come in FLAT black? I would use SEM but it only comes semi-. How much per can is the mar hyde and how many coats do you guys think it would take to make my bumpers nice and durable? Thanks
If you're going to paint your chrome bumpers, you're going to need more than just strong paint. You will have to sand and prep them, as well as primer them with self etching primer, then paint them. If you just throw a few coats of spray paint on there, it's going to start peeling off. Nothing just sticks to chrome and stays put.
I finally got around to getting to home depot and i grabbed some of that hardhat stuff and it said for METAL. IS this ok to use on my plastic bumps? If not what kind of really strong flat paint should i use to spray my plastic bumpers flat black like stus? Thanks
