Question for the Z4 shifter guys

I installed my Z4 3.0 rod on Monday, easily the best bang for buck mod on these cars. :D

But, now that the shift knob is SO MUCH lower, there is a lot of excess material in the shift boot, it is all bunched up and ugly now. What can I say, I'm a perfectionist. I'm due for a new boot anyways, has anyone found a good solution? My first instinct would be a boot from a Z-car, but they are of different shape. I just want something that looks OE again, has anyone accomplished this?

i cut mine some and folded the excess material at the top (near the shift knob) back inside of the shift boot. if that makes any sense...

i have a momo boot, which was roo short when i had the stock lever, but now it fits perfect. i would just cut material off the top and then roll the cut edge in

my boot looks fine, maybe the 'skirt' (the part that goes over the shift lever) on my RK3 is shorter?
