    Poll: Wind deflector to use or not.

    Well I pulled the wind deflector off my parts car today and I kind of like it so I am contemplating putting it on my 4dr 318i. What is your opinions on them.

    I have three options.

    1) Put it on.

    2) Tint it dark and put it on.

    3) Don't put on and sell it.

      One of the ones that goes in front of the sunroof? I think they're kinda silly looking, I'd just sell it.

          I think the one on my bros car looks good. Keep it and I don't think tinting it will do any good unless its clear. Dave's was tinted so I think it looks good.

              What I was thinking, is tinting it to like 5% or something really dark like that.

                          I think it will definitely take away from the nice look of the car when you have the sunroof tilted up. Definitely scrap it IMHO.

                              Don't install, but don't sell it either.

                              That might be nice item to have in future.

                                      I never understood what they were for... can someone enlighten me?

                                      My car came with one in the trunk that was previously installed... but, being from the AZ desert and getting sand in it apparently caused an indentation in the paint around my sunroof. detailing or buffing won't take it out.

                                                  on a sidenote how much do those sell for and how do you put them on the car? ... I got a huge lot of parts along with the purchase of my car and the sunroof wind deflector is one of them, however the car didn't have one originally.
