    Tint ?'s

So, I'm finally going to get my windows tinted. I'm only going to do the legal limit for NC which is 35%, and I want it uniform all the way around. (not 5% for rear, 20% for back windows and no tint for front....)
Anyways, there's this place that I had recommended to me in Jacksonville (NC) called Tint Wizard, they do the 3M stuff.
Anyone had any experience with them or the 3M stuff?
    Any words of advice?

p.s. I asked a year and a half ago, and I think they wanted $200 for the 3M job. I'm going to ask them about a warranty, don't worry.

Well I was fillowing your lead MR 325. I went and got my windows tinted yesterday on my black 325.

Question 1. Did they cut a line in the sail windows around the pop out mount?
I have a line in my tint and it looks tacky.
Question 2. Does the rear defrost look alright? I have air bubles around each defrost line.

Oh and I paid 230 in Marietta.

I have had 3 e30's done up here. Just found a new guy, uses high end stuff, dont recall if it was 3m but he did offer 3m. I got 20% carbon non metallic on my 4 door. He took out the rear glass completely to hide the cut lines. No tint job is perfect, but you shouldnt see cut lines from the outside. Also, I went for the carbon material because it does not interfere with radio and cell signals, and it has a touch of brown to it. (on the bronzit I really like the hue) On my Schwarz I got 35% High performance 3m. Its okay, just like night and day to the 20%. I paid 240 I think for the 4 door, and 189 for the 2 door. And no tint will be perfect. You will have flaws in it somewhere.

3m makes good shit from what i've used of them.

If you stay in the city, window tint isn't too bad, but it's horrible on country roads, i can't see anything around me. Just keep your percentage based on that, darker for city, lighter for country/backroads.

That's when you go back and complain.

I have the 3M stuff, 30% all around. Not a bubble anywhere. It looks great. At first I thought it was too dark for a black car, but now I love it. I wouldn't hesitate to use 3M again.

cobraken - If that is the best they can do, they ought to look for new work.
