    i hope your using a sander. 4 hours with the help of 2 other thats crazy. i sanded my hood to the bone in 2h

      hey colt what body shop you bringin it to? i took mine to D&D in downtown auburn, painted my whole front end for 400 bucks! i know it sounds cheap but i did all the prep work, and i had to color sand it, dont know how long it will last but i am planning on getting the whole car paited profesionally in a few years.....so it was worth it. you should see what they will charge you before you take it somewhere else.

        Dont have one, ive been doing the sanding with a block. I dont know where im taking it yet, i need to check around. Did they give you an estimate on the entire car?

            lol, the front was already faded so a lot of it came off pretty easily, the sections of it that were still in good conditon and everything were a bitch.

              Heh, at least you know how hard the rest of the good spots will be.

              I sanded all day eveyr day for weeks on my dad's car when we painted it.
