    Rear vents

Anyone ever tried to install vented rear windows on a later model e30?

I wouldn't mind... it'd actually be useful for me.... but just once in a long while, to connect the mobile antenna to the CB radio. Just put the antenna in the trunk and wire it through the vent window.

Other than that I guess I'd have no use for it.

Jordan, you're so diplomatic... since you're "tha bosssss" here, all i can do is suggest that maybe you might wanna consider editing your last post cuz we all know you're a really nice guy in person

some people actually do things for a purpose and arent concerned about looks all the time, so why not humor him & actually help someone out?

I'm sorry, allow me to rephrase.

                    Your car is gay.

                    Happy?

                      To answer your question.

It is a fairly direct swap.

The early windows and window gaskets are a direct swap. So are the latches. HOWEVER I cannot say if the bolt down points for the latches are present on later e30 c-pillars. If they are the plastic screw plugs are likely not there and you would have to obtain those.

I'll trade you my pop-out windows for your non-popout ones, condition depending of course. And as long as the exterior trim is already black. If it's chrome, I don't want them.

i have to object -when i have the 2 front windows all the way down, the air will swirl around the cockpit. however when i pop the rear windows open the swirling does not occur any more. the air seems to slip right out.

yes i will say that the car doesnt look to hot when they are popped out but sometimes its nice to have them open when its 100 degrees.
