I think it looks awesome! A bit more of an angle, and it would look just that much better.

Definately don't mold it to the airdam, since it'll be so low, who knows what type of damage that would do? (if hit) :x

I can't wait to see the finished product.

The plug for the mold is done. I made it so it comes out a little more, but not much. Now all I have to do is bust out a prototype lip to see how everything is going to mount up, and then make a final mold for possible customers.

just a sugestion. may want to get that fiberglass out of your wheel lip since first time you rub it'll most likly crack and look like ass put some real metal in..

Did you mold that with polyurethane foam or something else? I like the idea. It is much cheaper to mold your own lip than to get an 'is' or infinity or something. I need to get the newer style valance when i swap the bumpers and i will probably be doing this, just curious as to what you used to get the shape though. Looks good.

I got the shape from a stock 89i lip I had lying around. Its only about 1 inch wide, I extended it to be about 3 inches and covered it with fiberglass bondo and worked it until I got the shape I want. I used fiberglass bondo because its pretty strong and relatively easy to sand.
