Got my new muffler in the mail today. Magnaflow with dual 3'' tips. I should be getting it installed Tuesday.

is the whole muffler going to be angled or are the tips usually angled? anyways looks nice and shiny. Get sound clips when you get it on.

Looks nice. I'm in the market for a new muffler, can't wait to see it installed.

I can't wait either. The tips are bigger than I thought they would be. In the ad they looked smaller.

You're right. They do look smaller in the picture... weird.

Big tips look cool with the dual exhaust.

              I hope so.

I just want to make sure they get it on straight and not tilted at an angle, I hate when I see that on other cars.

Why the hell did you get a single in dual out muffler for a 325iS?

that's exactly what I was thinking... either that or " why would you want to weld the shiny tips to the piping?"

but maybe he has a single tube system? looks stock in the sig though.

                    Dunno.

I'd guess it's because it's cheaper to have a single-pipe system welded up -- and then he can still keep the cool dual-out look.

A lot of the SpecE30 racers are doing that - single-in, that is. Saves $Bling$, y'know?

                      Bling Blinging!

When I bought my Magnaflow the Muffler shop made a mistake and ordered the same kind, just dual in/out.
I thought it was to shiny and sent it back for a normal one. I bought my own shiny tips and was done with it.

I got it single in because it was cheaper. The muffler shop is only charging me $50 bucks to make a y adapter and install the muffler. So it will cost me $170 installed. I didn't think that was too bad of a deal.

How much did it cost, and where did you get it from?

That is the craziest exhaust system I've ever heard of.
