Just take out your sidemarkers [on any e30] and paint them black with black spraypaint. They will still light up at night if you don't make it too thick.

Those aren't sidemarkers, those are sideblinkers they only light up if yuo use your blinker and is forbidden by law (at least in my country) for to light up permanently ;)
