    Stickers?(56k)

Well, I bought a car with some cosmetic defects. Now that I've taken care of most all the mechanical issues, its time to make the old girl look a little nicer.

Thinking about smoking all the lights, maybe paint the centers of the wheels black, or atleast get some friggin hubcaps.

I've got 2 main problem areas, a dented up fender and a dent/bondo patch behind the drivers door.

Eventually I'll fix them the right way, but for now I'm just sick and tired of looking at them. What are some decent looking ways to cover them up? Thought about checker flags and the like, but I'm not too pleased with those. I'd rather just use stickers for now untill I can afford to actually fix it correctly. Sure I can pound out the dents with a hammer and dolly, but it will still need paint, and I hate how touchup paint looks even more than stickers.

Asking you kind fellows for a bit of help, a bit of a 'pimp my ride' you could say.

    Pics of the damage.

30seconds of ps...I really have no idea what to do, but want to keep it as minimal and localized to covering the damage as possible.

    TIA!

That's tough b/c the stickers are going to show the contours of the dents. I remember swapping out a fender on my Jetta b/c it was easier and cheaper than fixing up the dents (China part was like $140).
    It made it!!!111!!!1!!!!!!!

^Yeah, I'm going to dolly the dents out, but that will mess the paint up even more than it already is, so I'm going to spray clear over it then put some vinyl or something.

        How about an ( |Ouch!| ) Bandaid?

but in all seriousness. a new fender would proabaly be the easiest, and depending how good u are at hammering dents, the best.

and the bondo just sand down and primer and try to match the best u can.

U thinking about geting a new paint job soon? if so u might as well do all of the prep work so the paint turns out to your liking.

Sounds like you have some good plans for your car. just prioritize and it will turn out how you want it.

A sticker won't fix your dent, you'll just have a dent with a sticker on it and make it look even worse. Fix it right or leave it alone.

            :(

I'm just tired of explaining that no, I don't know how it happened, it was like that when I bought the car.

Suppose I can try touchup paint, then when it looks like shit, I'll just be back where I started.

Kind of like the big bandaid idea.

They make bumper stickers that look like giant Band-Aids.

^I'd thought about it, but this car is a daily driver so it's bound to get dings, dents and scratches. Can't have it looking too nice or some mofo will key it.

No progress since it's been snowing, but I did manage some pretty decent drifting. Found out I should have rolled my fenders!
