    Full Replacement Black Roundel

    Hey guys,
I have been searching for black roundels on here and can only find threads about the sticky ones.

I need to replace both roundels and would like to have the black already.

Anyone have a link for complete replacement black roundels for the e30's trunk and hood?

    Thanks

Bav auto sells a kit - I have seen colored ones on ebay.

I thought that Bav auto only sold the stick over kits. I need a new roundel and need a complete replacement. I might be wrong though, and please correct me if I am.

Also isn't there different sizes I have to look out for?

        Thanks again.

I'm 98% sure that Bavauto's is decals only.

Yeah, the kit is stickers. You could stick them on then clear coat the entire thing.

Autowerks has the roundel, but not for the e30, so I am out of guesses.

maybe they do and have not updated their site...Most are different sizes to fit the body.

I contacted them. Thanks for the website. What size, if anyone knows off the top of their heads, are our roundels on trunk/hood?

Not sure of the size, but I'm pretty sure the trunk ones are E30-specific, because of the shape of them, (they're slightly bowed). The hood ones are used on several models.

^great thanks for the info. Maybe my best bet would be to get a new roundel for the back and just get those sticky things. I don't really understand how they are applied though. Are they just stuck on the outside plastic cover of the emblem or can that plastic piece come off and the sticker be put down right on the blue?

There used to be a whole pile on ebay, now I can't seem to find them.

Edit: I found black carbon fiber ones. http://cgi.ebay.ca/BMW-E30-3-SERIES-...QQcmdZViewItem
That seems to be fake CF, but that seller also sells a real CF version.

They just stick over the surface of the roundel. I've seen them on several cars, they're very thin, not really noticeable that it's a sticker.

I can only find the CF ones. Don't have any other CF on the car so I really don't want that. I have been seeing those for a long time and wish he made a straight black one.

Are they already black or is it a sticker?
