    E46 M3 seats in E30...

I came across a beautiful set of black 2002 E46 m3 seats (front & rear) for a good price and in beautiful condition. I was just wondering how they would look in the e30. Does anyone have a pic of them installed in the e30?

Here is a pic of what the 2 front seats look like:

They look ok. Recaro makes a seat that looks almost identical.

I bet they weigh a ton though.

Those are pretty cool, but they would look totally out of place in an E30 interior. Too round and bubbly looking.

I have a new set of Recaro racing seats in full leather that i bought in January. They look nice and are comfortable BUT the e46 m3 seats are just wicked, and extremely comfortable.

I thought about getting the headrests on the m3 seats redone so that they are more square and less round........i have to make a decision quick or the M3 seats will be sold in no time at all.

They are extremely comfortable, but like stated before they are gonna look sorta out of place. Plus they are heavy like any other stock seat.

they are called "Recaro Style". The model name is Style, I'm not saying "similar to."

you can get them for about 800 each in leather, shipped, from Recaro. Only problem is, as rob mentioned, unless you're a bigger guy, they will be too wide, and you'll slide around. That's one of my biggest gripes with the E46 M3 too.

Oh yeah, and how are you going to fit the rear seat in? Do the rears fit in place? I would just say screw it and get some vaders. But thats my opinion, I could be wrong.
